Jon Weaver club historian found this information for us which was included in our programme. Mon 6/4/15 at home to Long Melford FC. Jon writes..... "I've just come across this old photo that our friends from Melford may be interested to see in the reserves programme when we play them later in the season. It shows their player Marsh scoring with a diving header against Crittall Athletic 1st team on 24th November 1956 at Cressing Road. It was an Essex & Suffolk Border League Cup 1st Round tie, and Melford won 4-0. They won the Border League title that season, and we finished 3rd."
